Gratitude Journal

When you are full of positive emotions like gratitude, there is no room for negative feelings like greed, hatred, envy, or lust. Taking time to ponder and number the blessings in your life will bring humility and peace into your soul.

  1. Buy a journal or notebook to write in

  2. At the end of every day, meditate or ponder on what happened in your day

  3. Write down a couple things that you are grateful for that happened today that you can attribute to a Supreme Being and say thank you.

  4. Write down a couple things that you can say thank you to a friend, colleague or stranger

  5. The next day, tell the people you wrote about in step 4 thank you, let them know how much you appreciate them.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.
